Weekend

I went home for the weekend. When I got back, Ryan found me before I could take a nap. Then Lucas woke me up from the nap. Later, Clint said that he missed me (in not so many words). Really, he said, "I haven't seen you in forever." I said, "i know, i went home, did you miss me??" ....silence.... "I knew it. I'm back now, don't worry :)"

Then i dropped the bomb.

"If Katherine moves up here, I may move in with her"

"yeah okay, whatever. Love you too. Messed up." - Clint
"i'm sorry, what??" - Ryan

....I think they have grown fond of me.

PS- Lucas, Clint and I have now watched Never Say Never....twice. #creatingbeliebers

They like me, they like me not

So, the past couple of days have been...well weird. This should be renamed the 'awkward blog' cause i feel like that is going to be my word for the remainder of my time here haha.

Most of my time is spent fetal position under 3 layers of heavy blankets on my bed because summer has decided to give it up to winter for a couple more weeks so we can all freeze. So...thats fun. I started hating Jillian Michaels again...also fun.

David and Kellsie are on a mini vacayyy up at Winter Park these next few days so I hope they're having fun...i'm sure they are. Precious :)

I would like to take this portion of the blog, not to write a retraction, but to further my explanation of my dear friend and roommate Lucas. I didn't do Lucas justice in the last blog because he is much, much more than a pretty face. He checks in on me periodically to make sure i'm doing alright (today he brought me my snuggie because i was cold), he shares a love for the Biebs and LOST (we started season 6 yesterday), he offers to share his dinner with me, he goes out to dinner with me (we went out with Clint and his girlfrann to Romas the other night...good fun). He is very, very nice and funny and I will miss him dearly when he moves onto bigger and better things in Boise at the end of the summer.

Back to Romas - we all went out and it was awesome to get to know Clint a little better and meet his pretty lady (wish her luck btw - she's high jumping at state track today)! Basketball has taken over our house and everyone who knows me knows I couldn't care less about the sport but yayyyy it was on at Romas so that was fun.

Speaking of fun - last night Katie LaBonde and I made some delicious treats after a Laser Tag trip to Loveland went horribly wrong. The treats consist of cookie dough balls, cake balls and peanut butter cookies. Which i've eaten about three of...lots of sugar. Lots and lots of sugar. Small doses. The guys, however, are enjoying them.

Today includes the majority of what I want the world to know. Most of us were bums. Straight up bums, all day long. We hung out in sweats, did homework, watched tv, did absolutely nothing. Then the evening time comes and Sarra gets invited to watch some Band of Brothers, so she gets up to leave and immediately hears, "wait, where are you going?!" "to watch Band of Brothers." "WE'RE A BAND OF BROTHERS!...and you." "aw...thanks guys but you're texting a girl, you're texting a girl and you're playing a video game. We're not even talking, so i'm going to go." "wait, no! don't go! she's about to go to bed so we can hang out!" "oh how tempting....no."
So i get up, go to my room to get some shoes on and i come out and pass the gentlemen to go to the door. As i'm saying my goodbyes i'm interrupted by Ryan, "are you wearing perfume?!" "...yes" "oooooooooh!" "YOU GUYS WEAR IT WHEN YOU GO OUT!" "...where ya goin?" "ugh i hate you guys" and off I go.
Ryan just farted. Disgusting. followed by "What, Sarra?! Its a natural bodily function...and i just had chili, lets get real." Great.
So I went off (he just farted again) to watch episodes 1&2 and came back to hear (goodness, another fart. someone help me) more crap about the perfume. I'm sorry if I looked like crap all day and wanted to at least not smell (...and again. gross) like crap, too. So, we shall see how the rudies get along without me once i find a job. Well, I think thats it.

Oh, Lucas let me jump on his bed today. <3 him.

Week 1 - Oh, what a summer it shall be

Forewarning: This is probably going to be the longest blog as I have to introduce who i'll be talking about.

So, week one: check. 7 days ago I moved in with 4 men (the fifth will come in August). Let me introduce you.
Lucas- Next door neighbor aka- we share the downstairs. He's a cutie..and single (he wanted to let everyone know he's available. Hot friends are to inquire). Just graduated last week with a degree in Communications. Look out world...he's out to communicate.
Ryan- Lives upstairs. Big guy, big hair, big heart. I knew Ryan a little before moving in and have since spent most of the week with him. Looking forward to A LOT of laughs with this one. PS-He's already a snuggie lover. Give him a week and i'll like Bieber too, just wait.
David- Also dwells upstairs. Just the nicest guy, really. Funny, respectful, enthusiastic, has a great and beautiful girlfriend who I hope comes around more :)
Clint- Met Clint approximately 3 days before I moved in. Youngest in the house, but brings a lot to the table. So far Clint's contributions to the house have been firecrackers, NBA 2K11 (i think), a large TV, a loud ford, his own bowling ball and an 'in' at Sam's Club. Excellent.
Jordan- He'll finish up the roster when he moves in in August.
That'll do it. 5 men. 1 me.

I know what you're thinking...Sarra, you're an idiot. That's going to suck. But fear not all you haters, Lucas made some house rules for me so I will feel right at home.
1. Get my own trash can for the bathroom.
2. Don't talk to him while i'm "all emotional"/"pms-ing"
3. Don't bring guys home. Ever.
4. Bring home all the girls I want.
So, as you can see...we're off to a great start :)
Here's a break down on how last week went.
We've all heard it, fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So, my first morning I made a delightful brunch which was devoured in no time. I knew I was in, though, when Lucas said, "this is probably the best meal i've had since i've lived here" cha-ching! Sarra-1 Haters that said this was a bad idea-0
Ryan and I have spent a lot of the week together because we have no lives so we started a mean competition in the form of Sorry (the game). Right now he is up 3-2 but er'day i'm hustling so you needn't worry. He also has found a passion for sweaters and quite enjoys my collection (pictures to come).
I made some lasagna the other night, it too was a hit, however I have Stouffers to thank for that. Oh, I folded all the blankets and put them away on a blanket rack and immediately caught some flack.
"what the heck! i just have to take them off and use them all the time!"
"then when you're done you just fold them and put them back..its not that hard."
"SO MANY RULES!!"
...I basically have to lock myself in my room for 4 days out of the month i'm so sorry FOLDING IS SO HARD. :) (don't worry, they've been doing a fine job at utilizing the rack)

Saw David's girlfriend last night, she said, "The house actually smells GOOD, nice job!" Sarra-2 Haters-0. Met a new girl last night, she said, "Wait, you actually live with 5 guys?? gross." Sarra-2 Haters-1

Basically, its been completely random and a lot of fun. However it hasn't been all "hahaha" and "hehehe". There have been some...weird...moments. Awkward invites to cuddle or to join in on the showering. Strange smells coming from the fridges. EXTREMELY awkward roommate hugs and group hugs. WAY too much time wasted watching them play that dumb basketball game. Found out I can clear the room by putting on Say Yes to the Dress or any Tyler Perry movie (except chances are Ryan would stay). Whooped Clint at bowling...220 average by left foot.

Though I'm calling them the lost boys, they're all very good to me and each other and i'm excited for the rest of the year. Should be a goodie!

That just about sums it up. I'm not sure what this blog will turn into. Probs a quote book/funny story book. We shall see. That is all.

Out.
